This needle bearing supports rotating shafts within the header driveline of a combine harvester. It is installed in the bearing housing that carries the auger or reel drive components, reducing friction between the shaft and its stationary mount. A worn bearing produces radial play that leads to misalignment of the driven element, causing vibration and accelerated wear on adjacent seals and gears. As an original-manufacturer component, its roller set and cage dimensions match the housing bore depth and shaft journal geometry, so no shimming or adapter sleeves are required for correct preload. On installation, verify the bearing is fully seated against the housing shoulder and that the retaining ring engages its groove completely.
