Product Description

This teflon block slides within the threshing mechanism to provide a low-friction bearing surface between moving components. It prevents metal-to-metal contact at the pivot or guide point, reducing wear on the adjacent steel parts. A worn block allows play in the linkage, which can cause misalignment of the threshing drum or concave clearance. The original material formulation matches the coefficient of friction that the mechanism was designed around, so replacement maintains the correct sliding behavior without binding.
