This crankshaft transmits rotary motion from the threshing drum to the walker assembly, converting the drum's rotation into the reciprocating motion that separates grain from material. It is mounted at the front of the walker system and connects to the bearing housings on each side of the chassis. A worn crankshaft produces an out-of-balance condition that accelerates bearing wear and can cause the walker frame to crack. The original part is machined to the same journal diameters and keyway positions as the factory assembly, so no shimming or re-drilling is required during replacement. When installing, ensure the crankshaft is aligned with the timing marks on the drive sprocket before tightening the retaining bolts.
