This gear transmits drive from the grain-unloading auger shaft to the adjacent conveyor section inside the combine harvester. It is a spur gear with eleven teeth that meshes with a mating gear on the driven shaft. A worn gear produces a whining noise during unloading and can cause the conveyor to stall or slip under load, leaving grain in the tank. The manufacturer machines the gear to the same tooth profile and bore tolerance as the original assembly, so it slides onto the shaft without rework. On installation, verify the keyway alignment and that the retaining clip seats fully.
