This housing assembly encloses the bearing that supports the shaft in the cleaning-system fan or drive mechanism. It positions the bearing relative to the housing bore and seals the rotating assembly against dust and chaff ingress. A worn housing or bearing allows shaft misalignment, which produces vibration and accelerates belt or pulley wear on the driven side. The assembly is machined to match the original bearing seat and bolt pattern, so the shaft alignment is preserved without shimming. When replacing, transfer the bearing and seal from the old assembly or install new ones, and torque the mounting bolts to the specification for the host machine.
