This brake pump generates hydraulic pressure within the tractor’s braking circuit. It converts mechanical input from the pedal linkage into fluid pressure that actuates the service brakes on each axle. The pump is mounted on the transmission housing and draws fluid from the reservoir; internal pistons or a gear set create the pressure differential needed for braking force. A worn or leaking pump causes a soft pedal, reduced braking force, or complete loss of brake function. The original manufacturer’s casting and internal bore tolerances match the housing and piston seals exactly, so no shimming or adapter plates are required during replacement. On installation, bleed the circuit fully to remove air and check the reservoir fluid level.
