This chain assembly conveys grain from the feeder house to the threshing drum. It is the primary mechanical link that moves crop material along the elevator path. The paddles attached at fixed intervals sweep the grain mass upward, transferring it to the next stage of the separation process. A worn or stretched chain causes paddle misalignment, leading to material buildup and reduced throughput. The chain is designed to match the original sprocket geometry and pitch, so no adjustment to the tensioner travel range is needed during installation.
