Corteco - 12014101B - PTO Drive Seal Ring

This PTO drive seal ring sits at the output shaft of the power take-off assembly, retaining lubricant inside the gearbox housing while excluding dirt and moisture from the bearing cavity. It is a radial lip seal that rides on the rotating PTO shaft; the sealing lip contacts the shaft surface to prevent fluid migration along the shaft. A worn or hardened seal allows gearbox oil to weep past the shaft, which can lead to lubricant loss and eventual bearing damage if not addressed. Corteco manufactures this seal to match the original housing bore and shaft contact geometry, so the lip rides on the correct area of the shaft without requiring shimming or adapter sleeves. When replacing, clean the housing bore thoroughly and lubricate the seal lip before installation to prevent dry start-up damage.
