The seal is manufactured by Corteco to match the original housing bore and shaft contact geometry, so the interference fit and lip pressure are correct for the application. On installation, ensure the seal bore is clean and free of burrs, and apply a thin film of oil to the sealing lip before pressing the seal into place.
