This V-belt transmits power from the engine to the drive system of the host agricultural machine. It sits between the engine pulley and the gearbox input, converting rotational force into traction for the wheels. The belt has four ribs that engage with matching grooves on the pulleys, preventing slip under load. A worn belt produces a squealing sound during engagement and reduces forward speed under load. As a Gates original part, the belt is manufactured to the same cross-section profile and length as the original assembly, so it seats fully in the pulley grooves without requiring tensioner adjustment beyond the standard range. On installation, verify the belt routing matches the original path and check pulley alignment before tensioning.
