This V-belt transmits drive torque from the engine pulley to the input shaft of the combine's main drive system. It sits in a single-groove pulley set within the belt drive assembly, routing power to the threshing and cleaning mechanisms. A worn or slipping belt causes a loss of rotational speed at the driven components, reducing throughput and increasing the risk of plugging. This belt is manufactured to the original cross-section and length specification, maintaining the correct tension range and pulley contact angle required for the drive system. On installation, verify the belt seats fully in each pulley groove and adjust tension to the manufacturer's specification.
