This V-belt transmits power from the drive pulley to the driven pulley in the belt drive system of a forage harvester. It is a single-rib belt, which engages with matching pulley grooves to transfer torque without slippage under normal load. A worn or stretched belt will cause a loss of drive speed, leading to reduced throughput or inconsistent chopping.
