This drawbar ball connects the upper link of a three-point linkage to the tractor chassis. It sits at the top of the linkage, providing the pivot point for the upper link as the implement is raised and lowered. Wear on the ball surface causes play in the linkage, leading to imprecise implement control and increased stress on the adjacent pins and bushings. This component is machined to the original ball diameter and shank length, so it fits the existing linkage clevis without requiring shims or adapters.
