The Worm Gear SG063 is a compact drive designed for electric motors of size 80 with a B14 flange. It features an aluminum cast housing, a case-hardened worm shaft, and a bronze worm wheel, and uses synthetic oil for lifetime lubrication. A torque arm should be used as an anti-rotation device. This component has transmission ratios from 7.5 to 100, a dynamic efficiency of 0.81, and a static efficiency of 0.66 at 1400 rpm, and does not feature complete self-locking. It is used for conveyor belts, lifting and rotating tables, and reel drives for hoses.
