The Worm Gear SG040 is a compact drive with a cast aluminum housing, a case-hardened worm gear shaft, and a bronze worm gear. It has an electric motor flange adapter on the drive side and a hollow shaft on the output side, compatible with size 71 electric motors with a B5 flange. It uses synthetic oil for lifetime lubrication and has gear ratios from 7.5 to 100, suitable for conveyor belts, lifting and rotary tables, and reel drives for hoses. A torque arm should be used as an anti-rotation device.
