The Worm Gear SG040 is a compact drive with a cast aluminum housing, a case-hardened worm gear shaft, and a bronze worm gear. It has an electric motor flange adapter on the drive side and a hollow shaft on the output side, compatible with electric motors with B5 flanges. It uses synthetic oil for lifetime lubrication and has gear ratios from 7.5 to 100, suitable for conveyor belts, lifting and rotary tables, and reel drives for hoses. A torque arm should be used as an anti-rotation device.
