The Worm Gear SG063 is a compact drive with a cast aluminum housing, a case-hardened worm gear shaft, and a bronze worm gear. It features an electric motor flange adapter on the drive side for common electric motor size 90 with a B5 flange, and a hollow shaft on the output side. A torque arm should be used as an anti-rotation device. It uses synthetic oil for lifetime lubrication and has transmission ratios from 7.5 to 100. This unit has a dynamic efficiency of 0.87 and a static efficiency of 0.76 at 1400 rpm, with performance dependent on temperature, speed, transmission ratio, and load, and it does not have complete self-locking. It is used for conveyor belts, lifting and rotating tables, and reel drives for hoses.
