This toothed cutting disc is the rotating blade that slices through crop residue and surface soil ahead of the cultivator tine. It is mounted on the leading bar of the tillage assembly, where its serrated edge cuts and mixes straw or stubble into the top layer of soil. A worn or dull disc leaves uncut material that can clog the tine path and cause uneven residue incorporation. The disc is a flat plate with five mounting holes and is secured to the hub with the provided M12 x 35 mm screw. On reinstallation, ensure the screw is torqued to specification and that the disc rotates freely without contacting the frame.
