This clutch disc transmits torque from the engine flywheel to the gearbox input shaft. It sits between the pressure plate and the flywheel, engaging and disengaging the driveline when the operator actuates the clutch pedal. Wear on the friction facings reduces clamping force, leading to slip under load and eventual loss of drive. The disc is manufactured to match the spline profile and thickness of the original assembly, so no shimming or hub modification is required during replacement.
