This feeder-house strip is the right-side wear component that guides crop material into the threshing cylinder. It mounts along the side wall of the feeder house, forming a sealing and directing surface that prevents material from escaping the conveying path. As the chain-and-slat elevator moves crop up the inclined housing, this strip contains the flow and reduces edge wear on the housing structure. A worn strip allows crop leakage and uneven feeding, which can lead to cylinder load variation. The part is formed to match the original housing profile so it seats flush against the side sheet without gaps. On replacement, inspect the mounting holes for elongation and replace any fasteners that show wear.
