This chain is the left-side grain-tank conveyor chain for a harvesting machine. It drives the cross auger and elevator paddles that move harvested grain from the tank toward the unloading system. A worn or stretched chain causes uneven paddle timing, leading to grain spillage or bridging inside the tank. The chain is built to the original pitch and link geometry so it engages the sprockets without skipping. On installation, verify the tensioner is set to the manufacturer's specification and that both sprockets are aligned in the same plane.
