Product Description

This spring finger mounts on the reel tine bar of a grain harvester header. It flexes as the reel rotates, sweeping crop material toward the cutterbar. The curved wire shape retains its spring force over repeated cycles; a fatigued or bent finger loses its sweep arc, allowing crop to slip past the reel and fall forward. The finger is installed by inserting its straight end into the tine-bar hole and securing it with the retaining clip.
