This gear wheel transfers rotational drive from the header driveline to the internal mechanism that powers the intake auger and cutterbar. A worn or chipped tooth causes irregular auger speed, leading to material bunching at the header throat and potential blockages. Manufactured by JAG, this gear wheel is machined to the original tooth profile and pitch circle, ensuring correct backlash with the mating gear without requiring shimming.
