It sits inside the walker housing, allowing the shaft to rotate with reduced friction while absorbing the vibration and load from the shaking motion of the straw walkers. As the bearing wears, the clearance between the shaft and the shell increases, producing a knocking sound and causing uneven walker movement that reduces separation efficiency. The set includes two plates, two bearing-shell halves, self-locking nuts, and screws for a complete replacement. On installation, ensure the shell halves seat fully in the housing bore before tightening the retaining hardware.
