This bearing assembly supports the shaft of the beater or impeller within the threshing mechanism. It mounts at the shaft end and maintains alignment between the rotating component and the stationary frame. A worn bearing allows shaft deflection, which can cause contact between the beater tips and the concave or housing, leading to mechanical damage and reduced threshing efficiency. The housing is designed to match the original mounting points and bolt pattern, so no adapter plates or shimming are required during replacement. On reinstallation, ensure the shaft rotates freely before securing the mounting bolts.
