The Prevost ASI061808 is a S1 series quick release safety coupling designed for compressed air applications. Featuring a two-stage venting system, it prevents dangerous hose whip during disconnection by first releasing pressure and then detaching the connection. This ensures safe operation and reduces accident risk. Made from lightweight yet robust composite material, the coupling has a compact design and is easy to use with one-handed operation. It is suitable for hose inner diameters of 8mm, has a nominal diameter of 7.4mm, and can withstand a maximum working pressure of 12 bar. It operates within a temperature range of -15 °C to +70 °C and provides an air flow of 1820 l/min. This coupling complies with ISO 4414 and EN 983 safety standards.
