This adapter is used for testing two-stage turbocharger intercooler systems in diesel and petrol turbo engines of cars and commercial vehicles. It helps locate leaks in intercoolers and intercooler hoses, and can also test the sealing of EGR valves. Leaks can be found by touch or with leak spray if pressure loss occurs, which is indicated by a tire inflator's manometer. The adapter also features an integrated overpressure safety valve.
