This test adapter is designed for bayonet turbocharger intercooler systems. It is used to identify leaky intercoolers and hidden cracks in intercooler hoses, and also to check the EGR valve for leaks. In case of pressure loss, the leak can be located by feeling the component or using a leakage spray. The adapter includes an integrated overpressure safety valve and utilizes the tire inflator's manometer to indicate pressure loss. It can be used in conjunction with an inlet test adapter, a counter plug, and a conventional tire pressure gauge.
