This internal air filter element is installed in the engine intake system of a self-propelled forage harvester or combine. It captures airborne particulate before it reaches the intake manifold, protecting the turbocharger and combustion chamber from abrasive debris. A clogged filter restricts airflow, causing a drop in engine power and increased fuel consumption. The filter is constructed by Mann-Filter to match the original assembly's pleat count and media density, which ensures the housing's seal surface is fully engaged and the bypass valve opens at the correct differential pressure.
