This hydraulic oil filter removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the pump and control valves. It is installed in the return line of the host baler's hydraulic system. A clogged filter element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and accelerate wear on the pump and valve spools. The manufacturer produces this filter to match the original housing's seal geometry and bypass cracking pressure, so the system maintains proper filtration and flow regulation. Replace the housing seal when installing a new element.
