Mann Filter - W9019 - Engine Oil Filter

This engine oil filter removes particulate contamination from the engine lubrication circuit before oil reaches the main bearings and turbocharger. It mounts on the engine block and receives oil from the pump; the filter media traps wear debris and combustion byproducts that would otherwise accelerate bearing wear. A clogged filter forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered oil to circulate and increasing the risk of scoring on journal surfaces. Mann-Filter manufactures this element to match the original housing seal geometry and bypass valve cracking pressure, so the filter maintains proper flow restriction across the service interval. On installation, lubricate the gasket face and tighten the housing to the specified torque.
