Mann Filter - WK8166 - Fuel Filter With Water Separator

This fuel filter with an integrated water separator removes solid contaminants and separates water from diesel before it reaches the injection system. It mounts in the fuel line between the tank and the lift pump, where its two-stage action traps particulate and allows water to settle in the clear bowl at the bottom. A water-saturated element reduces flow and can allow emulsified water to reach the injectors, causing corrosion and poor combustion. The separator bowl should be drained at the interval specified in the machine maintenance schedule, and the element replaced when the service indicator or routine inspection shows restriction.
