This upper bellows assembly seals the seed-metering housing on the seeder, preventing dust and seed material from entering the drive mechanism. It sits between the top of the metering unit and the frame, allowing vertical movement while maintaining a closed environment around the seed disc. A torn or collapsed bellows allows debris ingress that can cause the metering drive to bind or skip, leading to irregular seed spacing. This component is manufactured to the same material thickness and fold geometry as the original assembly, so it collapses and extends through the full stroke range without tearing at the hinge points.
