This telescopic tube is the long bellows section that connects the seed metering unit to the coulter assembly on a grain seeder. It forms a sealed, flexible conduit that guides seed from the distribution head down to the opening disc. The tube extends and retracts as the coulter follows ground contours, maintaining a continuous seed path without spillage. A torn or collapsed bellows causes seed to fall outside the furrow, leading to uneven emergence. The original part uses the same wall thickness and fold geometry as the factory assembly, so it collapses and extends without binding against the mounting brackets.
