Manufacturer
Rasspe

This end knife is the outermost cutting element on the cutterbar of a grain harvester header. It carries the final section of the reciprocating knife assembly and provides the cutting action at the end of the stroke. Wear on the knife edge or mounting holes leads to ragged crop cutting and increased draft on the header drive. The manufacturer machines this component to match the original hole spacing and edge geometry, so it seats correctly in the knife clip without binding.
