This chain drives the infeed drum on the header of a grain harvester. It transmits torque from the header drive to the drum shaft, which pulls crop material into the feeder housing. A worn or stretched chain causes slip at the drum, leading to uneven crop intake and potential blockages at the feeder chain. The chain is supplied with a connecting clip for installation.
