This chain is part of the grain-unloading system on a round baler. It transmits drive from the threshing-unit output to the auger and discharge conveyor that move material out of the machine. The 12A-1 pitch and 74-link length match the original assembly's path around the drive sprockets and idlers. As the chain stretches from normal wear, slack can cause the unloading auger to stall or run intermittently, reducing throughput. The set includes a half-link and a connecting link, which allow the chain to be installed without a master-link tool. On replacement, verify that the chain tension matches the manufacturer's specification to prevent slap against the housing.
