This bearing assembly supports a rotating shaft within the header or threshing mechanism of a grain harvester. It is mounted in a three-hole flange housing that bolts directly to the machine frame, allowing the shaft to spin freely under load. A worn bearing produces play in the supported shaft, leading to misalignment of the driven components and increased vibration. The manufacturer machines the bearing race and housing bore to the same tolerances as the original assembly, so no shimming or adapter sleeves are required during replacement. On installation, ensure the mounting bolts are torqued to specification and that the shaft rotates freely before reconnecting the drive.
