This lower link ball is the pivot point connecting the tractor’s lower hitch arm to the implement’s lift pins. It sits inside the clevis of the hitch arm and rotates as the implement articulates during turns and terrain changes. Wear on the spherical contact face causes slop in the linkage, leading to uneven implement levelling and accelerated wear of the adjacent bushings. This replacement ball is machined to the same outer and inner diameters as the original assembly, so it seats in the clevis without requiring shimming or modification. On installation, ensure the retaining pin or clip is fully seated and the ball rotates freely before attaching the implement.
