Anti-vibration system
Strong vibrations transmitted through handles of mechanical devices can lead to vibration disease.
For this reason, STIHL created the anti-vibration system.
In mechanical devices equipped with the AV system, handle zones significantly reduce the number of vibrations generated by the combustion engine and the working tool.
Cleaning the filter becomes necessary only when engine power noticeably drops.
The STIHL compensator located in the carburetor ensures that despite increasing air filter contamination, engine power, harmful substance content in exhaust gases, and fuel consumption remain constant for a longer time.
