The STIHL GHE 150 shredder is a solution with an electric motor for occasional use. The feed chute has an opening shaped like a four-leaf clover. It can handle branches up to 35 mm in diameter as well as leaves, for use as, for example, fertilizer. It features a sandwich-type cutting unit with two blades. The four-leaf clover-shaped opening serves both as a safety function for the user and protection for the device. It prevents accidental insertion of a hand into the shredder and limits the size of branches fed in, so as not to overload the device. The multifunctional disc with teeth tears the material, while the set of double-sided cutting blades, the paddle blade, and the counter-rotating aluminum blade cut branches and finely shred soft material. The wide wheel track ensures a stable position of the shredder during operation and facilitates its movement. Sandwich-type cutting unit: It shreds material very well thanks to the use of additional paddle and tearing blades, while maintaining a low vibration level and quiet operation. The innovative electromagnetic safety lock protects against accidental starting of the device, for example after maintenance work or blade replacement. The safety switch is coupled with the shredder opening mechanism - if the cover screws are unscrewed, the lock is activated, interrupting the electrical circuit, preventing the device from being switched on.
