If you want to fully automate grass mowing on a small or medium lawn up to 800 m², the compact STIHL iMOW® RMI 422 robotic mower is the ideal solution. The STIHL robot is powered by an integrated lithium-ion battery. It features a mulching function. During mowing, the grass is shredded into small particles which act as a natural fertilizer for the soil. This action helps maintain a healthy and dense lawn. Multi-level cutting height adjustment ensures that the grass is cut exactly to the expected height. It performs excellently even on uneven terrain with slopes up to 35%. This compact device is very easy and intuitive to configure. Based on the garden size, the iMOW® mower automatically determines an individual, dynamic mowing plan enabling optimal lawn mowing at a convenient time. Installation requires an installation kit. STIHL iMOW® robotic mowers meet all applicable safety standards. Nevertheless, the robotic mower is not a toy. The movable housing with sensors protects the STIHL iMow robotic mower against weather conditions and obstacles. If the STIHL iMow device encounters an obstacle during automatic mowing, the sensors integrated into the movable housing register contact with the object and initiate a change in mowing direction. Sensor set The STIHL iMow robotic mower is equipped with various sensors. As soon as someone tries to lift it during mowing, it stops. Furthermore, the robotic mower can be secured with a PIN code. If it is set so that it can only be operated by entering a PIN code, security is increased and theft becomes pointless. Standard equipment included The standard equipment of the STIHL iMow robotic mower includes: the device, charging station, four mounting brackets for securing the charging station, and an iRuler measuring device which helps when laying the boundary loop. To install the iMow robotic mower, an installation kit (Kit S or Kit L) is additionally required. Charging station The charger is the haven of the iMow robotic mower. We place it in the central part of the garden so that the mower can draw power at any time or find shelter in bad weather. Thanks to the intelligent charging system, it decides itself whether fast battery charging is needed (due to planned work) or whether the battery will be charged in standard mode. The charging station can be placed both on the lawn and outside it. Clear LCD display The control console is integrated into the housing of the STIHL iMow robotic mower and features a large-format LCD display. All functions and data regarding the device can be viewed very intuitively. The high contrast and display intensity ensure readability even in full sun. During mulching, the grass is shredded into small particles which act as a natural fertilizer for the soil. The durable mulching blade of the STIHL iMow robotic mower remains sharp for a long time and ensures precise cutting even with taller grass. With each blade stop, the direction of its rotation automatically changes, ensuring even wear. The blade is replaced without the use of tools. Return path adjustment According to factory settings, the automatic mower returns to the charging station along the boundary wire. On request, however, there is the option to adjust the corridor depending on the structure of the edge of the mowed area. Control console The control console with an integrated bright and clear LCD display is found in all STIHL iMow robotic mowers for easy configuration and quick display of device information. Thanks to the high contrast, use is facilitated even in strong sunlight. The console is seated in the housing of the robotic mower. Drive of the iMow robotic mower STIHL iMow robotic mowers have a drive that allows them to overcome hilly terrain while maintaining consistently high mowing quality. The STIHL RMI 422 handles slopes up to 35%, and the other RMI 4 robotic mowers handle terrain with slopes up to 40%. Adaptive Slope Speed Thanks to the Adaptive Slope Speed function, the STIHL iMow robotic mower adjusts its speed to terrain unevenness. The built-in tilt sensor continuously analyzes the device's inclination and synchronizes it with the drive. Dynamic mowing plan The dynamic mowing plan of the STIHL iMow robotic mower can be used to set individual time windows for each day in which the device can operate. Within these active ranges, the robot automatically selects the lawn mowing time to achieve the best possible results. If, for example, it interrupts mowing due to rain, it will make up for it later, within the specified time. The dynamic mowing plan is available and operated from the control panel. Wheels with tread The mower handles movement excellently on dense lawn and on uneven surfaces as well as on inclines (with a slope angle of up to 35%). Furthermore, the wheels with tread move not only quietly but also clean themselves.
