STIHL RM 545 VM petrol lawnmower with Vario drive, featuring a mulching function. It is ideally suited for medium-sized lawns. The large 60-litre grass catcher with an integrated fill indicator guarantees a long working period without the need to empty the catcher. The central 7-step cutting height adjustment enables even cutting of the grass to the desired height in the range from 25 to 80 mm. The Vario drive enables STIHL lawnmowers to individually adjust the speed to conditions and personal preferences. The speed can be changed directly using the lever located on the guide handle, without changing the engine speed.
Multi-function blade
Thanks to the special multi-function blade, the grass is gradually cut and shredded inside the housing. When using the grass catcher, the cut material is effectively transported to the catcher. During mulching, the cut, shredded grass is spread back directly onto the lawn as fertiliser, thereby providing very important nutrients and moisture.

The integrated fill indicator informs when the grass catcher needs to be emptied. The two-element construction of the catcher makes it easier to open and empty.
Mulching function
If the grass catcher is removed and the mulching insert is fitted, the lawnmower can operate in mulching mode. The cut grass is then finely shredded and evenly spread over the lawn, eliminating the need to empty the catcher. This solution guarantees time efficiency, and the lawn regains nutrients and moisture.
