It features infinitely variable speed control with 2 speed levels directly on the control handle. If you want to work at lower engine speeds, for example during lighter tasks such as trimming lawn edges, select ECO mode (level 1). This results in lower energy consumption and can extend battery life. If you need full speed for cutting undergrowth and dense grass with the STIHL FSA 80, switch to level 2 using the slide switch. The speed adjusts automatically to the attached cutting tool and is infinitely variable.
The STIHL FSA 80 battery-powered brushcutter has been specially designed for use with metal cutting tools. It is equipped as standard with the STIHL GRASSCUT 230-2 grass cutting blade. You can also choose from a wide range of other cutting tools and mowing heads. The practical loop for standard harnesses supplied as standard can be adjusted to your height without tools.
