The STIHL FSA 50 can also be converted from a grass trimmer to an edger in a few simple steps and without tools. Another advantage is the foldable flexible spacer bow, which enables gentle and precise, almost perfect trimming around trees and other objects.
The infinitely variable speed control of the electric motor allows the speed to be smoothly adapted to the respective application. This results in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery life. The STIHL FSA 50 trimmer is standardly equipped with the STIHL AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. It enables automatic adjustment of the cutting line by lightly tapping the head on the ground and convenient re-spooling with STIHL line from the outside without having to open the housing. As an optional extra, the tool-free STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with plastic blades is available. Thanks to the practical mounting handle, the STIHL FSA 50 can be hung on a wall and stored in a space-saving manner.

The front part of the spacer bow is made of flexible material, so you can press against it if necessary and then get even closer to objects while trimming. This enables controlled and accurate cleanup work. If necessary, you can fold the bow up or down.
Device control via SMART CONNECTOR:
The device is compatible with the Smart Connector and can be connected to the STIHL connected app. After placing the Smart Connector on the device and starting it once, it records the machine's operating hours and transmits them via Bluetooth to the STIHL connected app. In addition to viewing operating hours, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance tasks, ensuring the user does not miss any important maintenance deadlines and the device is always ready for operation.
