This speed sensor monitors rotational speed in the electrical system of the host machine. It is threaded into a mounting point on the transmission or shaft assembly, where it detects the passing of ferrous teeth or targets and sends a pulsed signal to the controller. A failed sensor produces an erratic or missing speed signal, which can trigger warning codes or cause the machine to enter a reduced-power mode. Manufactured by Bepco, this sensor is machined to the original thread specification so it seats correctly in the housing without the need for adapters.
