This left-side moldboard is the XXL body type for the plow assembly. It forms the curved surface that inverts and breaks up the furrow slice as it is lifted by the share. The moldboard is mounted to the plow frame using three plow bolts; the bolt holes are positioned to match the standard bolt pattern on the frog. A worn or bent moldboard causes incomplete soil inversion and uneven furrow depth. The original part is formed to the same curvature and thickness as the factory component, so it maintains the correct draft angle and soil flow without requiring adjustment to the plow beam. When replacing, use new plow bolts and torque them to the specification for the assembly.
