This roller chain transmits power from the drive system to the bale feeding mechanism on the host baler. It engages with sprockets on the input shaft and the feeder assembly, converting rotational motion into the linear movement that advances crop material into the baling chamber. A worn or stretched chain causes timing slip between the drive and the feeder, leading to inconsistent bale density and potential jams. The chain is constructed to the original dimensional standard for the application, matching the pitch and roller width of the factory assembly so that it seats correctly on the existing sprockets without requiring shimming or modification.
