This tapered roller bearing supports the front drive axle and PTO output shaft, managing both radial and axial loads from the driveline. It is an original-manufacturer component from the AGCO replacement range. The bearing uses a matched cup and cone assembly that maintains the correct internal clearance for the gear mesh it supports. A worn bearing produces audible rumble during turns or under load, and if left unchecked can allow shaft deflection that damages the housing bore. The bearing is pressed onto the shaft and into the housing; on installation, ensure the retaining nut is torqued to the specified value and that the seal surface is clean.
