This trailer valve rod transmits the mechanical input from the tractor's control linkage to the hydraulic valve on the trailer, enabling the engagement and release of the trailer's braking or tipping circuits. It connects the cab-mounted lever or solenoid to the valve spool, converting linear motion into the valve's open or closed state. A worn or bent rod introduces slack in the linkage, causing delayed or incomplete valve actuation and reducing control response. As an original AGCO component, the rod is formed to the same length and end geometry as the original assembly, so no adjustment of the linkage clevis or bracket is required during installation.
